Mimi and McAveler learned how to make a and vest craft while they were in Texas Here's what you will need for the badge Cardboard or card stock Aluminum foil Scissors Hot glue gun Glitter Black glitter glue Safety pin Instructions Cut out a five or six point star with a diameter of approximately 4 inches. Cover the star with aluminum foil. Write "Sheriff" on the front of the star with black glitter glue. Use a hot glue gun to attach a pin back to the back side of the badge. Allow the hot glue to dry. Wear the badge on your vest. Or, instead of the word "Sheriff", write Deputy or Ranger or any other positive title you can think of. Here's what you will need for the vest
Brown paper grocery bag Scissors Things like markers, glitter glue, glitter, crayons, yarn, foam shapes, paints, stickers and stamps to decorate your vest Instructions
Make for cowboys and sheriffs out of upside-down brown paper shopping bags. Cut a line down the center of one side of the bag from the top to the bottom. Cut a hole for each arm in each thin side of the grocery bag. Cut an opening large enough for the child's head in the bottom of the bag. Use your imagination to decorate your vest just the way you want it. Make buttons and patterns on your vest but be sure to let the vest decorations dry before wearing your vest.
