These no bake cookies are also flourless, made with oats. Warning, they are delicious but they look like a Yellowstone animal or grizzly bear may have passed this way!

These are Mimi's favorite no bake cookies. She loves to make them because they are and the whole family loves them.

They are one of the first things her mom would allow her to "bake" because you only use the microwave!

Warning! They are delicious--you won't be able to stop eating them--but they do look kind of like a grizzly bear may have.......well, you know.

Here Are The Ingredients

No bake cookies* 1/2 cup butter

* 2 cups white sugar

* 1/2 cup milk

* 1 tablespoon vanilla

* 2 1/2 cups oatmeal

* 1 cup coconut

* 1/2 cup cocoa

Directions

1. Put the butter, sugar, milk and vanilla in a and heat on high to boil but do it in three steps--about 3 minutes each step.

* Stir 1 minute, heat 2 minutes in microwave

* stir 1 minute, heat 2 minutes in microwave

* stir 1 minute, heat--the exact heating time will depend on your microwave. Don't overdo it or the sugar will go grainy.

2. Now stir in the oatmeal, coconut and cocoa quickly so that it doesn't start to set up in the bowl.

3. Drop spoonsful onto waxed paper and let them cool.

4. Do NOT accidentally on purpose drop one cookie on the floor for Chico Chihuahua! Dogs cannot have chocolate!

5. DO hide the cookies from McAveler! He can and will eat chocolate. Lots of it!
