A fun Ice Cream Recipe for a white Christmas day, made out of snow

Mimi, did you know that long ago people figured out was to use snow?

Well, cold dirt probably didn't taste very good so they started making ice cream out of snow, laughed Mimi!

OK, OK, do you want to learn the snow ice cream recipe or not?

Of course I do, McAveler. You are so wise. I was only having a little fun. You need to lighten up!

Sorry, Mimi, says McAveler. Here's how to make your own Snow Ice Cream.

Snow ice cream recipeWhat You'll Need:

Clean snow

Bowl

Sugar

Vanilla extract

Milk or cream

How to Make Snow Ice Cream

Dress warmly

Scoop some freshly fallen snow into a big, chilled bowl, about half full. (Make sure the snow you scoop is clean and white. If the snow is brown or yellow, it is yucky.)

Push the bowl down into the snow to keep it cold while you make your snow ice cream.

Add a little sugar

Add a few drops of vanilla extract

Add some very cold milk or cream

Stir together and eat it up with your friends!

Snow ice cream makingTips

You might like to take your tasty treat inside to enjoy by a warm fire.

Experiment until you find the right amounts of each ingredient to make the snow ice cream come out the way YOU like it!

Experiment with different flavors of snow ice cream. Try adding some cinnamon or cocoa powder or powdered lemonade mix.

Try adding a couple of spoonfuls of strawberry or blueberry jam or chocolate or caramel or peach yogurt and chopped nuts on top.

Try using buttermilk or soy milk instead of milk or cream.

Try adding colorful sprinkles on top.

Try adding a couple drops of food coloring to make your snow ice cream a shocking color!

If you are brave, try putting it all on! Use your own imagination!

Chico likes his snow ice cream sprinkled with bits of his favorite .

But be careful. Snowball, the big white cat that lives next door and has the beautiful, many colored tongue, likes to lick up anything made out of snow and food coloring.

He may try to lick up your snow ice cream when you aren't looking!White christmas cat
