Halloween crafts are Mimi's favorites. Learn to make glue ghosts and a no sewing required lady bug costume.

Here is what Ciara uses to make Halloween crafts Glue Ghosties:

Halloween crafts Glue ghostsMaterials & Tools

White school glue

Waxed paper

Needle and thread

Optional: Small buttons, piece of felt and other items with which to decorate the ghosties

Directions

1. Put an 8x8-inch square of waxed paper on a counter or table top.

2. Squeeze out glue on the paper in the shape of a ghost. (For younger children, outline the ghost and let them fill it in with the glue.)

3. Before the glue dries, place two googly eyes toward the top of the ghost. Add other decorations as you wish.

5. Leave the glue to dry overnight.

6. Once dried, carefully peel off the waxed paper from the back of the glue ghost.

Now you can decorate your home with the ghosts. Use a needle to poke a tiny hole near the top of the head and to hang the ghosties with the thread.

Directions

Dress your child in a and

Cut wing shapes out of red posterboard and then cut small circles (try tracing a glass for the right size) from black posterboard, which you glue onto the wings.

Punch two holes at the top of each wing and thread some black twine or yarn through them, knotting them over your child's shoulders, backpack style.

Then use two black pipe cleaners to make antennae. Either twirl the ends or attach a black or red pom pom to the end.

Wrap the unadorned end of the pipe cleaner around a dime store headband and place on your child's head.
