Make a craft out of dry tree branches. Hang pictures of the nuts in your family tree and share it at the next

Family tree craftHere's what you need

Bare tree branches, spray painted if you want

Plaster of Paris from the hardware store

Large plastic margarine tub or plastic ice cream pail

Decorative paper or tissue ribbon

Wooden or plastic curtain loops

Scissors

Glue or tape

Instructions

Invite everyone to bring a snapshot to the family reunion.

Before the day of the reunion, prepare the tree portion of your centerpiece.

First, prepare the plaster of Paris in the margarine or ice cream tub.

As the plaster begins to harden, stick the branches in, arrange them as you wish, and hold them in place for several minutes until they no longer need support to stand up.

Let the plaster dry for at least two hours. DO NOT pour left over plaster down the sink!

Now cover the tub with bright tissue paper and ribbon.

On the day of the reunion, ask the relatives to tape or glue their photos to the backs of the curtain loops. Trim the photos with the scissors to fit on the loops as shown in the picture.

String ribbon through the hangers on the top of the loops and tie them to the branches.
