Danish Crafts Kids show us their beautiful land and some of the wonderful activities they do!
Danish crafts kids know how to be active and enjoy their beautiful land. These are some of the kids that McAveler and Mimi spoke to who were gathered down by the water.
You can see that they like to do the same things you like to do! And, except for the language and culture, they are pretty much just like you.
Let's go greet them!
Kids must attend school in Denmark from about age 6 to age 16. The school years up to the age of fifteen or sixteen are known as Folkeskole or what we might call "public school". Over 80% of young people take further education in addition to this.
Government-funded education is usually free of charge and open to everyone. Denmark has private schools but less than 15% of all children at basic school level attend private schools
McAveler said that Denmark has a fine school system and that all kids should stay in school and get good grades.
Mimi said she wants a trapeze swing in her bedroom like this lucky girl!
