Here are the instructions for Christmas stars out of foam balls and toothpicks
Paint the balls and the toothpicks different colors
Tie a piece of thread (about 12 inches long) around a pin and insert the pin into the ball, in the same area where you will insert the toothpicks (or tie the thread to a brad or small nail)
Then insert the toothpicks in 2-4 rows (depending on the size of the ball) around the ball, leaving the front and back bare
Or, insert toothpicks randomly all over the ball
Use all the same colored toothpicks or use different colored toothpicks on the same ball
Hang the balls on the tree
A Message from Doctor Chico Chihuahua
Hey kids, watch Snowball, that big white cat that lives next door, go crazy trying to bat down the Christmas stars--until he learns that they are like little porcupines!
But don't worry. If he hurts himself, I'm right here to help!
