Christmas crafts ideas make the holiday season even more enjoyable. Learn why as the kids travel to the snow and the beach!

Christmas Crafts Ideas Candy caneMcAveler, what is your favorite season of the year? Mine is the Christmas crafts ideas season.

Same here, Mimi. I especially love a white Christmas where we can learn crafts and also also play in the snow. Remember how much fun we had snow boarding, skiing and making snow art last Christmas?

Let's jump back to Park City, Utah where we went during the Christmas break with our parents.

That sounds like great fun, McAveler. But I also love Christmas season on the beach. After we visit Park City, can we jump to the beach?

Sure, we can do all that and be back home before dark in time to feed Chico Chihuahua. Can I snow board in my fins and snorkel mask, joked McAveler?

Christmas Crafts Ideas girl santa Only if you can swim buckled onto your snow board, laughed Mimi.

Got your sun screen, asked McAveler? OK, hold on, let's jump to Christmas in Park City!

After they returned from Park City, Mimi thanked McAveler for thinking about visiting there again. Then McAveler asked Mimi to help him remember all the Christmas crafts they learned in Park City.

Well, we learned how to make a giant snow cone in the back yard.

Then we learned how to make snow ice cream.

Do you remember Hanna, that nice girl with the broken leg? To pass the time, she learned lots of Christmas crafts ideas and she taught you how to make a Christmas garland out of pretzels and out of rigatoni instead of popcorn.

Then she taught me how to make beautiful Christmas candle holders out of canning jars.

Lifeguard SantaBut the best one she taught me was how to make Christmas stars out of foam balls and toothpicks!

Got it. OK, ready to jump to Christmas beach fun now, Mimi, asked McAveler?

Yes, says Mimi, I was starting to get a little bit cold from being in the snow in Park City.

Well, you won't need your coat for long. Christmas season on a warm beach is straight ahead! We can learn to make hand and foot print Christmas decorations with plaster of paris.

Mimi, I heard that Santa sometimes works as a lifeguard on the beach. Do you think we'll see him?

I hope so McAveler! Hey, here's a fun activity! Let's learn the "Rappin' For Santa" rap. It's fun and our grandpa wrote it!

Happy Holidays
